Hi — I’m José Moreno, the founder of Firm Ground Design. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and am currently pursuing my Master's to deepen my skills and vision as a designer.
I started this studio with a simple purpose: to create thoughtful, meaningful spaces that bring ideas to life — without the stress of permits or overly complicated processes. Whether it's a peaceful backyard escape, a micro studio, or the early vision of your dream home, I’m here to help you shape it with clarity and purpose.
I've had the privilege of not only designing but also living in my first fully built project, which taught me how deeply design can influence how we live, rest, and connect. That experience sparked my desire to help others create grounded, beautiful environments that truly feel like home.
At Firm Ground Design, we believe that great spaces don’t always need to be massive or expensive — just intentional.
